(Miss Nelson Is Missing)

 

Read each effect.  Find the cause that completes the sentence.  Cut and paste. 

**Remember, the cause tells (why did it happen?) and the effect tells (what happened?)**

 

 Effect

Miss Nelson was worried.  Miss Viola Swamp became their teacher.

   

The children didn't misbehave.  They missed Miss Nelson.

 

Some children talked to Detective McSmogg about Miss Nelson.

 

Miss Nelson returned.

 

The children were happy.  They stayed good so she wouldn't leave again.
