Congratulations!  Now that you have finished reading the book, you have the opportunity to work on a project.  Consider the following choices and select one.

• Obituary: Write an obituary for Tony
• Newspaper Article: Write a newspaper article about Tony's accidental drowning
• Character Profile: Create a character profile poster for either Joel or Tony
• Vermillion River Warning Poster: Create a warning poster about the dangers of swimming in the Vermillion
• Write Chapter 13:  Create a new ending for the novel.
• Interview:  Have a family member read the book and record your conversation
• Artwork:  Create an abstract piece of art about the themes of the novel or draw several scenes from the novel
• Chapter Titles:  Create chapter titles for each of the twelve chapters
• Lights, Camera, Action!: Write a script for a scene of the book and perform it as a tableau
• Poetry - The Road Not Taken:  Write a poem based on the events or themes of the novel.
