World
Trade Center Design
by Julia
In
response to what happened on September
11, 2001, I have designed structures to
be placed at the World Trade Center site.
Here is the design:
The
building is triangular shaped. It has 100
stories. Its colors are red, white, blue,
and gold. The top part of the building is
gold, and the sides of the building are
red, white, and blue symbolizing the
strength of the United States. The
windows of this building are shaped like
gold stars. On the top of this building
there is a huge American flag.
Inside the
building there would be twelve places to
eat. These places would be in the 16th
floor and 71st floor of the building.
There would be two movie theaters inside,
on the 2nd and 4th floors. There would be
an underground mall in this building.
There would be a memorial wall shaped
like a pentagon, also colored red, white,
and blue. On this wall would be the names
of all the people who died as a result of
the events of 9-11.
The
building and the memorial wall help us
remember and honor the victims and heroes
of 9-11 with the use of patriotic colors.
These colors symbolize peace and love for
all the people who are dead because of
the terrorism.
The green
area would be used as a park. I used this
design because it is very patriotic and
restores confidence in the strength of
the American people.
World Trade Center
Design

During
September 11, 2001 a lot of people lost
their loved ones. As a result, my design
of the new World Trade Center would
represent the country, the people who
were brave and the people who died
working in the World Trade Center.
My design
has one building that is shaped like a
star shooting up. There are thirteen
stripes, because not only New York was
under attack but the whole nation was
under attack. There is also a blue star
on the top.
Inside the building are twenty
restaurants, a movie theater, a mall,
offices, and a hotel. On the first floor
is the lobby.
This
design memorializes the 9/11 victims by
having their names inscribed on the star
and on the memorial house that would be
outside the building. The fountain would
also list the names the victims and
heroes on the ledge.
There will
also be a triangular shaped green area.
This green area will let people sit and
relax. There will be a church, a
fountain, and some swings for the
children to play on while their mothers
or fathers think, reflect, and relax.
I chose
this design because it gives people a
feeling of confidence and support for our
city and country. This design also lets
people have a peaceful and comforting
place to come to.

Nobody wants to have an empty site at the
World Trade Center, so I made this
proposal. Every design must have a
memorial, buildings, and a green area.
The
memorial is the building that contains
the pictures or names of the victims and
heroes who died at the World Trade Center
as a result of the events of 9/11. My
memorial contains the earth inside the
building that is the shape of a cylinder.
The inside of the memorial will contain
every victims and heros
picture, their language and name. Their
families can put things (no garbage) near
the victims or heros pictures
and names.
The other
buildings are designed to replace those
destroyed at the World Trade Center site.
You can make more than one building. In
my proposal, I have two buildings. They
are the same size and shape. They are
sixty stories high and fifteen yards
wide. There is a picture of an eagle
which stands for the United States on
each of the buildings . On the top of the
building airplanes or helicopters can
land. The buildings are in the shape of a
rectangle. Inside will be similar to the
inside of the original Twin Towers. There
will be offices, shops, restaurants, and
a subway system.
The green
area is like a park. My green area has
trees for shade. My green area also has
two fountains with two birds. The two
birds stand for the Twin Towers. My green
area is used for playing, picnics,
parties and for relaxing.
My
proposal will look beautiful at night
with the full moon.

On
September 11, 2001, a terrible tragedy
happened. Two of our greatest monuments
were lost. Families were separated, and
heroes were gone. We all hope for the
best for the lives lost. In honor of the
World Trade Center, AnneMarie and I
constructed monuments we called
Starlight Memories.
Our two
cylindrical 90 floored towers are
connected with a ruby red heart. The huge
heart is called the Heart of
Hope. The Heart of Hope is a
memorial for all the people who died, and
it is a bridge to go from the first tower
to the second tower.
Our towers
are like twins. They both have a
glimmering star on the top. Both towers
have the exact same color: Baby Blue. Our
towers both have a white door with red
outlining. Each tower has trash cans and
fire hydrants.
The first tower will be dedicated to the
government. We hope the first building
will be used for meetings for the
government. The first 40 floors are for
tourists to buy souvenirs. The last 40
floors are offices for important
meetings. The rest of the 10 floors are
full of food courts representing all the
countries of the world.
The second
tower is for families to have a good
time. Mothers can go shopping on the
first 30 floors. The fathers can get
sporting goods, and the elders can relax
in the seniors resting area on the
last 30 floors. The children can play in
the indoor play places on all 20 floors.
The rest of the 10 floors are for family
foods which may be purchased in
restaurants like McDonalds, Burger
King, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza
Hut.
The path
that leads to both the buildings and the
Pool of Liberty is a peace
sign. It means that when you are at
Starlight Memories you are in
a world of peace. The Gardens of
Faith surrounds the peace sign. It
will be a place to think about your
thoughts and relax while enjoying the
beauty of nature.
I think
Starlight Memories is perfect
for the new monuments that can be built
for the World Trade Center. It symbolizes
peace, faith, liberty, and hope. All
these things explain our amazing country
and its people. I think our design is
full of beauty in spirit and in
appearance.

The tragedy that happened on 9/11/01
affected many peoples lives when
the Twin Towers were destroyed. People
lost their families and friends to the
tragedy. We are designing these buildings
so that we can help people get their jobs
back. Although we cant help people
get their lives back, we hope this design
will help people get their money to
support their families.
There are
two tall buildings with a freedom sign.
One of the buildings is a fantastic
shopping mall and the other building is a
replacement building for the old one
which will be an office building. The
shopping mall building is shaped like a
triangle and a rectangle and the office
building is rectangular with a round
shape on the top of the building. There
are stars on the shopping mall building
that stand for the stars of the American
Flag and an eagle that stands for our
national bird.
There is a
bench and a spring pool for people to
relax and play. In this design there are
people having a picnic and playing on the
jungle gym. There is a guard holding a
money bag with money that has been
collected to help people in the hospital
and help the poor. The memorial pond is
dedicated to all the people who died and
helped in the World Trade Center tragedy.
The main memorial has a candle light that
will guide people home at night. Inside
the memorial is a list of names of all
the people who died. There is a special
tree that grows every day meaning that
America is growing strong. The green area
is going to be used as a relaxation place
after a hard day.
We chose
this design because this design reminds
us of 9-11. The memorial with its pond
and flag serves as reminders for us. This
design provides areas with lots of
activities to do.
We hope
that our design will help people get
their jobs back and will still remember
their loved ones. As we create our
design, we have a feeling that America
will always stand stronger than ever.

We made this design
because it represents the World Trade
Center. This building has a memorial on
the continent of North America. Office
space will be on the northern hemisphere.
There will be a subway in the mall and it
will take the same route. There is going
to be a shopping mall in South America.
There is
one building shaped like a sphere. This
building represents the fact that we are
all united as one. There is a pool in the
green area where parents and kids may
rest and enjoy the peaceful area. This
design memorializes the victims and
heroes of 9/11/01 by having their names
engraved on the walkway.

In order
to honor the victims and heroes of
September 11, 2001, I designed four
buildings representing the four places
and buildings the terrorists hit and
remembering the innocent victims of
September 11, 2001.
My design
has four rectangular buildings
representing the innocent victims that
got killed. The first and last buildings
are shorter than the middle two
buildings.
In the
yellow star is the memorial and museum to
commemorate what happened on September
11, 2001. The museum will house
peoples art work related to the
events of September 11, parts that were
salvaged from the planes used in the
attacks, and parts of the damaged
buildings.
My green
area has a pond measuring to nineteen
feet. The steps on my building are red,
white, and blue representing the United
States.
I chose
this design because my design represents
the innocent victims of September 11,
2001 and belief in the strength of the
United States.

In my
design, there are 8 buildings. Two are
80-story office buildings. Two Of them
are 2-story rectangular shaped buildings.
One is a mall and the other is a
restaurant. There are two memorial
buildings and a nondenominational house
of worship. There is even an aquarium.
The house of worship is painted red,
white, and blue. Memorial Building #1 has
last names of the people who died. These
last names are arranged from A-K. In
Memorial Building #2, the last names are
arranged from L-Z. There is also a hollow
concrete fort around my design.
I think
this design highly memorializes the
victims and heroes of 9/11 in many ways.
When you walk though the hollow concrete
fort, you will be able to see decorated
spaces on the walls. These decorations
were made by United States citizens. Each
wall has the name of a fireman,
policeman, or Port Authority worker who
saved people on 9/11 carved into it. The
memorial buildings have names of the
people who died arranged in alphabetical
order. On every September 11, people will
gather and pray in the house of worship.
Theyll also sing the National
Anthem as a sign of unity, hope, and
strength of our country.
I think
the green area is very beautiful. It has
big paths and grass to play and have a
picnic in. There are two big fishing
ponds with plenty of fish. There are
beautiful flowers everywhere. This will
inspire hope in our future.

We have
designed structures to replace those lost
at the World Trade Center site. There are
two buildings. The two buildings
represent liberty, strength, and that
America is still strong. These buildings
are in the shape of long rectangles. The
color of these buildings is periwinkle
blue. The flags stand for the United
States and how we will never forget the
victims of 9/11. The two flags are
elevators, so you can get to the other
building. When the elevator moves, the
flags light up red, white, and blue.
In the
grass area there is a flag that
represents how strong and beautiful
America is. There is a big wishing
fountain. When visitors miss there loved
ones, they throw a coin in the fountain
or they just make a wish. The children
and adults could relax in the green area
or the adults can go to work and their
children could play in the green area.
Inside the
right building there is a mall on the
first fiftieth floors. On the rest of the
floors, there are food courts and
restaurants. Inside the left building all
of the floors are office space. This is
our design of the new World Trade Center.

In my
design, you will find stars on the tips
of the antennas of the towers. They
represent the stars on the American flag.
There are three towers, one saying 9/11
on it, making us remember the horrible
day the World Trade Center fell. Another
shows USA. It reminds us of the country
under attack. The third tower looks like
the American flag. Inside, there will be
office space, hotels, and restaurants.
For my
memorial site, there is a globe. Inside,
there is all of the badges and uniforms.
There will also be pictures of the
victims and heroes of 9/11 in the
memorial.
