Wyoming Teacher Policy Institute
Our Vision

Our vision for the Wyoming Teacher Policy Institute is to improve student achievement by empowering teachers through on-going action research that engages others and influences education policy.

"The National Teacher Policy Institute recognizes that in order to achieve our goal of a quality teacher in every classroom, we need policies that enable teachers to meet expectations and to gain support of the public we all serve.  Teachers are the most important part of any long-term solution and are key players in policy development and implementation of standards."
Wyoming Governor, Jim Geringer

"The purpose for bringing Wyoming the Policy Institute is to connect policymaking with what goes on in the classroom."
Wyoming Governor, Jim Geringer
