Sarah's Studio

For the past few months, my "Labels" class worked with the New Museum on making labels for their exhibit " Time of Our Lives". We went on three trips to the museum to view slides on works of art that are being displayed in July. We had to write what we thought of the works of art and what we felt they had to do with aging.

In class, we created our own labels that in some way must represent ourselves. I chose to focus on my relationship with my boyfriend because I love him very much; he is very important to me. I scanned a photo of a painting of us that is in his room and I put it on the label, which is for a love potion. When somebody views my label, they can tell I love him dearly and think very sweet thoughts when he is on my mind.
