Yan E Chen's Studio
For the New Museum project, I had to write the evaluation for the slides that I saw in the museum. This project made me feel that the art is really deep and so imaginable. Different ages of people have different way of looking at an art. Older people have deeper imaginations and younger people just like to day dream a lot about their future. The major influence that effected how I write about other people’s art work is their meaning to their art. Artists can have a totally different meaning about their work. If I wanted a self-portrait of myself, I would draw it because that’s what I am best at in art. Art to me is the second best way to express my feeling because I can let others see my feeling through pictures. But the best way to express my feeling is through poems. It has so much meaning in just one line and it touches my heart if the poem is sad, romantic and about apology. image of Yan E Chen
