Objective - Students will be able to identify and practice using vocabulary associated with the zoo

  1. Dove vai per vedere gli animali?
  2. C'e uno zoo vicino alla tua casa?

Review the verb vedere ( have the students follow your lead)

Io vedo Noi vediamo

Tu vedi Voi vedete

Lui vede Loro vedono

Quick set of oral questions:

 

Using pictures or this site

Go over pictures and say each name of the animal. Students follow your example

Click here - have students say the names of the animals while reading them

Clikka qui - have students fill in the names of the animals next to the appropriate picture

If there is time, go to this site for a fun look at animals, their names, pictures and sounds

 

At the end of the lesson do fill in for final reinforcement
