Garden Project
Taylor School has an ongoing garden
project where several teachers are using gardening for developing language
as well as for the understanding of science concepts. All curricular areas
have been addressed in one way or another with the use of the garden.
The "Garden Unit" that the following
lessons are from is a year round unit that doesn't really culminate at
any time during the school year, but instead continues on to the following
school year (working in cycles).
