·      Choose a topic or fundamental question that has always fascinated you. It should be about any idea for which you have always wanted an answer. It may be about space aliens, cures for diseases, how chocolate is made, how a book is published, how to become a sports star, or any question or idea that you have thought about for a long while. It can be about Science, Social Studies, Literacy, Math, Performing Arts, Law and Government, or international concerns/politics.

·      Explain the problem and what you think/feel about it. Discuss when and why this problem first bothered you. Document any past attempt that you have made to research or learn about this idea or question.

·      This part of the project should be a minimum of one page - written in first person narrative - typed in 12-point font, double spaced and edited as a Microsoft Word document.
