Survey Says...
Lisa Kihn
Here is a survey that you can give to parents the first week of
school. This questionnaire will provide you with invaluable information
about the students in your class. I use this information as a way
to get to know parents and students better. Many parents will provide
you with a unique insight into their child and you can use this
information to help you meet individual learning needs. I often
refer to this survey during parent teacher conferences and use it
as a way to begin a meaningful conversation with parents about their
children. I also find it helpful to know parent's professions in
case I need an expert in that field to volunteer in the class.
