Three: Create a Vision

So you've done a walk-thru of your site. Hopefully your site survey is complete and you have a clear idea of what your school, student, and staff needs. The next step is to begin the visioning process and provide an opportunity for members of the school to reflect on what is already happening in the school.

Take a minute and review these questions.

  • Where are we now?

  • How can technology be used for learning?

  • Where might we go?

  • How do we get there from where we are?

  • How do we formulate the vision?

You and your committee will need to work together on finding the answers to these questions. It will be much easier and effective to co-create your vision or mission as a team. Your chances for "selling" the vision to the rest of the school will be better than one person doing it. So, let's dive in for more.
