The Anne Frank Center USA uses the diary of Anne Frank as both an authentic Holocaust document and a literary work of art to teach literacy and tolerance and inspire young people to build communities based on mutual respect. Programs offered include 90-minute school visits with Holocaust survivors, The Art of Self Discovery 10-week residencies, and professional development.

SchoolNet is an online community exclusively for educators, led by some of the best education bloggers, teachers, administrators and policy makers in the nation.  Its goal is simple: to provide educators with a single, free and customizable place to share their knowledge, build learning communities and provide educators with superior sources for objective, trustworthy and peer-reviewed information.   

Community Learning Support Organization
Formed as a part of the Children First Initiative, the Community LSO serves 165 elementary, middle and high schools across New York City. The Community LSO is founded on the belief that schools must become communities themselves and develop meaningful relationships with families and their communities. The Community LSO works to support schools in instructional areas as well as in developing partnerships with community based organizations and community within the school.

University of San Diego
Division of Continuing Education
The University of San Diego Division of Continuing Education offers several of Teachers Network’s series of self-guided, online courses developed by teachers, for teachers. Practical ideas, strategies, and resources are presented based on the latest in thinking about the art and practice of teaching.

The Children’s Aid Society fills the gaps between what children deserve and what life has dealt them. We have been serving children for more than 150 years, a longevity that is a testament to our ability to adapt to the always changing needs of today’s youth. After all, you don’t succeed for 150 years by being old-fashioned.

Inside Schools is a group of committed public school parents, children's advocates, journalists and teachers dedicated to improving public education in New York City. Insideschools visit schools, speak with parents and teachers, and comb the media to present an independent and authoritative view of New York City schools.

The mission of MOUSE (Making Opportunities for Upgrading Schools and Education) is to be a catalyst for the integration of technology and learning in the NYC public schools, empowering students and schools to succeed in the information age.

The Children's Museum of the Arts is the only museum in New York City that brings artists and children together to create, exhibit and celebrate children's artwork. They offer school group visits and customized outreach to early childhood through seventh grade.

The American Museum of Natural History's Resources for Learning is a collection of activities, articles, evidence and analysis and more, for educators, families, students and anyone interested in teaching or learning about science.

Pennsylvania High School Coaching Initiative (PAHSCI)
In 2005, The Annenberg Foundation partnered with the Pennsylvania Department of Education to implement the Pennsylvania High School Coaching Initiative (PAHSCI). Funded by The Annenberg Foundation, PAHSCI is a three-year, $31 million initiative designed to improve student achievement and build teacher capacity through instructional coaching. Four additional partner organizations provide support for program implementation: Foundations, Inc., Penn Literacy Network from the University of Pennsylvania , Research for Action, and The Philadelphia Foundation. Research support is also provided by The Center for Data Driven Reform in Education from the Johns Hopkins University and by MPR Associates, Inc.
