PowerPoint Presentations
- Action Research
- Skill Building
Dear TNLI NYC Fellows:
Here is a powerpoint presentation that Senior Fellow Liz Gil did last year for her action research presentation. We also have a powerpoint from Second Year Fellow Frances Schuchman. We thought it might be helpful for you to view it and see what an action research presentation looks like. Not all presentations have to be in powerpoint. Fellows have presented using overhead transparencies, poster board, hand outs, and student work. (NOTE: This is a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation. You will need Powerpoint to view it.)
Here is a link to Barbara Jones’ powerpoint on presentation skill building. You might find it helpful while you were are preparing your presentation. She was our guest speaker on March 24th.
Additionally, You should have a two page summary to hand out. You can find two page summaries by viewing the front page of most of the studies posted in our action research library: http://www.teachersnetwork.org/tnli/research/
Thank you to Liz Gil & Frances Schuchman for sharing their presentations with us.
