A KWL chart will be used as both a formative and summative assessment tool. The teacher will elicit from the students what they know about scrabble history, rules, strategies, and masters. After research has been completed, the teacher will assess the information learned relating to scrabble history, rules, strategies and masters. Additional assessment will be done in accordance with the following rubric:
