ROCK REPORT

The following rock report was taken from Rocks and Minerals, Curriculum-Based Hands-On Activities., The Education Center, 2000  It was copied and given to each student.  Each student supplied their own rock, and performed the experiments on that rock.  The student picture samples are of them working on the report in my room.

The above students are performing streak tests for mineral color.

These students are testing for the presence of limestone by dropping vinegar on the rock.
