Teacher's Guide to Macbeth Web Site
Background Research Essay-The
purpose of this assignment is to provide students with the experience of
doing a short research essay that will also enhance their understanding
of Macbeth and give them the opportunity of viewing web pages devoted
to Shakespeare and his plays.
Inquiry Web Page-The
purpose of this assignment is for students to display their literary essays
on the play so that they can learn from each other and be motivated to
do their best work because the essay is posted on an Internet site. After
the essays are posted students will read each other's essays and fill out
the evaluation forms. I will compare my evaluation with theirs just for
fun to see how we differ and report the results to the students. Students
are also able to display their artistic and creative talents and the ability
to use technology. The most important component, however, is that they
demonstrate the ability to write a literary essay with quotations and that
they explain the quotations as well.
