Macbeth-Act 1
Directions: These
questions are intended to be used in class. For Act 1 the teacher
can give the students time to try to answer the questions and
then go over them in class. But starting with Act 2 or Act 3 the
teac her can divide the class into 6 groups and assign each group
one question to answer which a member of the group writes on the
blackboard when they are finished. Then each group in turn
explains the answer they have written on the board. If there are
more than 6 questions, one for each group, groups can volunteer
for bonus points for answering a second question. The rest of the
group can comment or disagree with the answers as well. The
easiest way to do this is to give students a copy of the
questions rather than have them copy the questions from the
board. It saves time.
