Students will use an on-line tutorial to review the basic aspects of Microsoft PowerPointŪ Several sites are suggested and teachers should choose the most appropriate site for their class.
Students can work in the computer lab or work at home to complete the tutorial.
Advance preparation and prerequisite knowledge/skills
Sheets with URL for on-line tutorial. If the tutorial is assigned as homework, the URL could be e-mailed to the students to help facilitate their access to the site.

Extensions
Teacher may want to print out portions of the tutorial for the students. Teacher may also want to develop their own tutorial depending of the experience of the student and the instructional objectives of the project.
Homework
Students may complete on-line tutorials at home.
Evaluation
Students will complete an on-line or off-line PowerPointŪ tutorial and produce a minimum of a two slide presentation that includes text, graphics, and transitions.
