CARING FOR A PET

LESSON # 2

Lesson Overview:  Students will become aware that pet owners need to be responsible.  They need to be able to care for the pet for its entire life, even after the newness wears off and it grows into an adult pet.  If you decide you want to be a pet owner you need to think first and act later. Many important questions need to be answered.  Do you live in a small apartment, or do you have a house with a backyard?  Will someone be home or will the pet spend long periods of time confined and alone?  No thinking first would be a grave mistake both for you and your new pet.
