PEANUT MATH STUDENT WORKSHEET

1. Estimate how many peanuts are in the jar.  Write your estimate, then count to see how many there really are.

2.  Group all the peanuts in the jar by groups of one peanut pods, two peanut pods or three peanut pods.

 3. Write the three fractions that show how many one, two and three peanut pods you have. For example, if there are 5 one peanut pods and 25 peanuts you would write 5/25

4.  Create a graph using a computer program to show the different groups of pods.  (Attach graph to this page)

 5.  Use your peanut pods to form different arrays of multiplication. Then use a drawing program to illustrate arrays and write the number sentence for each array.

        For example:  Lets say that you have four two peanut pods. You would draw it and write the number sentence like this:
