Objective:
Students will be able to:
*Complete a story evaluation
* Create a book
* Create a pamphlet on a weather conditions

Worksheet (story evaluation)
Created Book

Activities:
1. Complete a story evaluation on Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs.
2. Students can participate in a fun writing activity by creating a book similar to the main characters in Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs by using different characters, such as instead of people, animals and a different type of setting. In order to make the story accurate, the students will have to research different weather patterns to find their similarities and differences.
3. Students can use various search engines to collect information on their animal such as: Google, Yahooligans, Fact monster and Ask Jeeves.
4. Students can use PrintShop to make a pamphlet on the with the following information:
* List three facts about their weather pattern.
* New words I learned.
* What was the most interesting thing you learned about the weather pattern you chose?
* Why is weather important? List three things.
* Do you like the learning about the weather why not?
* List any other information you would like to tell about the weather or weather conditions.
* Download a picture of your weather or weather pattern you chose.
*** At a Learning Center, you can have questions that the students have to answer when they are finished with their work.***
