Family Customs and Traditions

As you research the net and investigate traditions with your family, answer the following questions for each of the holidays mentioned.  Then use the information to type an expository for each of the holidays.  Remember you will use the four expositories to make a book on customs and traditions.    You may want to add pictures to your expositories.

Special Celebrations or Holidays: Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, and Weddings (Write an Expository For each One)

If you don't celebrate any of these, pick four holidays that you do celebrate

Here are questions to answer about each celebration.

What kind of items do people use to celebrate

What kind of food do they use and what is it's meaning?

Are there any decorations involved?

What kind of activities take place during the celebration?

Do you wear special clothing?

Where Does it take place?

Unique Family Custom or Tradition:  Write an Expository about Your Unique Family Tradition

What is the custom or tradition?

Who is involved?

What do you need for this special custom?

Where is it performed?

When is it performed?

Why is it special? What is it's meaning?

How do you performed it?
