Customs and Traditions Quilt

You will create a paper quilt on your family customs and traditions. 

Construction paper (any color), glue, scissors, inch ruler, colors, markers, any other material of your choice to decorate such as (glitter, material, buttons, etc.) or you can create each square in the computer. Large bulletin board paper.

1.  Cut out 6 squares out of construction paper.   Each square should measure 8"x8" (inches).

2. Decorate each square to represent 6 different family customs or traditions, Such as:   Christmas, Easter, Birthday, Wedding, Family Reunion, Talent, etc.

3.  Cut a piece of paper 18" x 28".

4.  Place all six squares evenly on the big piece of paper.  There should be 1" between squares and 1" all around the border of the big piece of paper.  Then glue each piece

5. Decorate the border of the paper and the in-between spaces if you wish.
