Dear Parents,

    Our class will be starting a unit on cultural heritage.  We will be researching our roots to create a family tree. Also, we will learn about our cultural countries,  customs, traditions, and religions.  Finally, they will prepare a favorite family recipe. We will culminate our unit with a Family Heritage Day, at which time,  the students will have an opportunity to display their work and taste each others delicacies.  It will be a time of sharing and fun for all the students and their families. I would like to ask your cooperation in helping your child with any information that you can give them and any help you can provide in making this learning experience a success.
