My name is Akshay.
I was born in India and I came here when I was two years old ( 1989.) Now, I'm
thirteen. I came here with my mother, my grandfather, and my grandmother. My mother
is divorced. I have still retained my culture, and I am a Hindu. I am also a vegetarian.
I still eat eggs and drink milk. I think it is idiotic to mindlessly slaughter
innocent animals for food when there are so many other food sources on the planet.
There is still a degree of killing when you eat vegetables and fruits, but they
aren't as sentient as animals. I am also a huge animal fan/nature lover. I also
don't like poaching, logging, coat and bag making (using skins.) I also like music,
tennis, and computers/video games.
I am looking forward to this project
because I like to learn about different cultures and people. It is fun to learn
about different cultures and histories because there are so many ways to do everything
and knowing all of them can make life easier. For example, there are different
ways to make a certain type of food, or harvest a certain crop.
