About the Author The author of this book is Samuel R. Hollier. He was 11 years old when he wrote this and he went to ICE (Institute for Collaborative Education). He lives in New York, NY in Brooklyn. He got the idea from the chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Sam'sther favorite authors are J.K. Rowling, who wrote the Harry Potter series, and Brian Jaques, who wrote the Redwall series. When he's not reading, Sam likes to play a computer game called Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos.
