How to Start
Macbeth Inquiry Page 1.
Open Microsoft Front Page Editor- Use directions
sheet.
2. Using
directions for Microsoft Front Page Editor, do Step 1
making one table only, put in a color, and then minimize
it.
3. Go to the URL on the
Internet: http://teachersnetwork.org/teachnet-lab/fklane/pmaslow/macbeth/macbeth.htm
and click on last link at the
top called Inquiry. Or you can look at the back of
your homework sheet. Read questions 1, 5, 6,
7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15. Choose one that you
will attempt to answer today. You can always change
your mind so just quickly choose one to answer. You
have over 5 weeks until this is due, plenty of
time. Highlight with your cursor which
question you will answer today and go to edit and copy
it. Minimize this page and go back to your
Front Page Editor page. Paste the question on
the page. If you want you could instead
simply type the question. Step 2 on the
direction sheet explains how to change the font.
4. Now maximize the class
Macbeth home page and click on hypertexts. Click on
the third one that has MIT in the URL. Find
the quotes from Act 1 and 2 that you need to help answer
the question you chose. When you find a quote you
want to use to answer the question you chose go to edit
and copy it. Then go to your page and paste
the quote. Next write how
this quote answers the question.
5. Make a new table
when you want to do a new quote.
6. If you want to add
pictures go to the Macbeth home page and the link called
background on the top of the page. Go to the
bottom of that page to find pictures of Macbeth.
You can also use the digital camera to take photographs
of yourself and other students dressed as the
characters.
7. Save your work - see
