Conestoga Wagon    -            a very large wagon covered with material

 

Newville Stage     -                 a carriage drawn by one or two horses

 

Mule-Team Carriage     -     a carriage drawn by several mules (usually 6 )    

 

Barge               -                     a long, large, usually flat bottom boat for transporting freight that is generally        

                                                un-powered and towed or pushed by other craft.

 

Canoe             -                       a light, open, slender boat that has pointed ends and is propelled by paddles.

 

Sail Ship        -                       a ship that is propelled by sails
