The President of the United States lives in the White House; it is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. Washington, D.C. is our nation’s capital. The first president to live in the White House was John Adams in the early 1800's.
Now George Bush and his wife, First Lady Laura Bush live there. President Bush is our country’s 43rd president.
