Dear Los Olivos Students:

As most of you know Lily Asper was a pioneer in the field of orchid plants and a local valley resident for twenty-four years.  Los Olivos School  was named in her will as the benefactor of Ms. Asper's orchid business.  As a result of Ms. Asper's untimely death last week, you will take possession of the orchid nursery effective immediately. 

In order to run this orchid nursery properly, you will need to know about orchid sales, orchid propagation and orchid growing.  It is our hope that you can maintain her extensive collection of orchid plants as well as reap the benefits of running a successful business.  We will meet on Tuesday to finalize the details.
