Overview: In this unit students research United States presidents, important figures in the American Revolutionary Era, and influential artists. They also use email to meet new faces. Social studies, language arts, fine arts and technology are integrated as the students visit Internet sites to learn about these "famous faces", design word documents and power point presentations, and create portraits of the men and women who have shaped their world.
