Creating our Classroom Museum

Collections From Home

 

*  Students will be given the opportunity to exhibit collections from home as we come to the end of our Kids as Collectors unit. 

 

*  We will be creating a class wide mini museum using our shoebox collections and established collections from home.

 

*  Students are invited to exhibit collections from home such as coins, bird nests, rocks,

sea shells, pencils, dolls, stuffed animals, key chains, etc.

 

* Collections are due at school by _______________________.

 

*  Our classroom museum will be open on _____________, from _________ to _________ for viewing by families and students.

 

*  A Collector’s Log outline will be completed as part of each museum display.  The outline will be used during oral presentations.
