Rancheros Daily Life by L. C.

Celebrations were births, weddings, and deaths.

Food they ate: corn, beef, herbs, squash, beans, tortillas, vegetables and watermelon.

Clothing was made by hand at people's houses.

Houses were made from sun dried bricks.

There were no schools at the ranchos so the parents had to home-school them. Some teachers traveled to ranchos and stayed there for months to teach the children.
