Visit The National History Museum of Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. Founded in 1922, this museum features exhibits on many aspects of Brazilian history. View the Casa do Trem, which is an excellent example of early Portuguese architecture. Browse through the exhibit on coin and stamp collections. 

Shop in Rio De Janiero's many jewelry stores. Find a bargain on your gold pieces. Purchase more at the fashionable boutiques. Eat dinner in one of Rio's famous restaurants. After dinner, a enjoy spectacular samba show with elaborately costumed mulatas, singers and dancers, presenting Brazil's folklore and capturing the carnival rhythms.

Lets continue onto The Museu do Índio (Indian Museum) in Rio de Janeiro, founded in 1953. This museum is dedicated to research and education on the indigenous cultures of Brazil.
