Now that we have read The Mysterious Giant of Barletta, we have learned that not all giants are bad.  You will now create an original story titled The Mysterious Giant of Brooklyn.  Your story should be at least three paragraphs long (beginning, middle, and ending.)  Use the following questions as a guide.  Remember to proofread and revise your final draft!!

• Describe in detail what your giant looks like.  It could be helpful if you draw it first, so that adjectives can come freely to your mind.

• Where in Brooklyn is he standing?

• Who or what is the giant protecting Brooklyn from?

• How does your giant protect and save Brooklyn?
