In this fast-paced commercial world where Marketing reigns supreme, our students need to prepare themselves before they face the competitive job market. One of the ways to prepare students to meet the demands of the market and fulfill state academic requirements is through this unit.
Students will go through the exact steps a market research analyst goes through, only on a simpler level. Students will do market research, create surveys, make presentations based on their findings, and finally develop and market a product of their own creation. For most students this will be an exciting experience that will wet their feet in an actual business experience.
This unit addresses standards in Math, Language Arts, Technology and Career Development. The following lessons will achieve these goals:
