"Necessity is the Father of Invention"

One of the issues facing many teachers today is how to integrate Science & Technology into the curriculum. You have to do this and align these lessons to the standards.  After this monumental task, you have to maintain student interest at the same time as well.  Here's an answer for you, the Toshiba Exploravision Contest. This unit was done with 7th & 8th grade inner city middle school students in New York City, but can be adapted to any age group.
