Mexican Taco                                  

 

  INGREDIENTS
  • 12 hard taco shells
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • complete seasoning bottle
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 head of lettuce
  • 1 bottle of hot salsa
  • 1 sour cream

 

 

 

 

UTENSILS

  • serving spoons

  • fork

  • knife

  • frying pan

  • 6 small bowls

 

 

 

WHAT TO DO

  • Cut up the onion, pepper, and garlic into very small pieces
  • Sauté onion pepper and garlic  in a frying pan with a teaspoon of olive oil
  • Add ground beef  to the frying pan, mix it with the onion, peppers and garlic and cook thoroughly. As you cook the meat press with a fork to break down the meat into really small pieces.
  • Cut up the tomato into very small squares and place in a bowl
  • Shred the lettuce into small pieces and place in a bowl
  • When meat is cooked place in a bowl.
  • Place shredded cheese in a bowl for easy access.
  • Place all bowls on the table, so everyone can serve themselves.
  • To serve, get empty taco shells, use a spoon to scoop up meat and place in the shell. 
  • Then place tomato, lettuce and cheese on top of the meat. 
  • Finally, top with salsa and sour cream.
