Plant Needs
Objective: The students will learn about the needs of a plant.
Materials:
Artificial plant, healthy plant, dead
plant, The
Enormous Turnip.
Introduction: Teacher will
introduce the story, The
Enormous Turnip. Read the story. Talk about how
the turnip grew, etc. Show students artificial and real plants.
Prompt students to discuss what the needs of the two plants are and the
differences of the needs.
