Materials:
Computer,
database program such as Access or Microsoft Works
Procedure:
Go to Start.
Click on Program.
Click on Microsoft Works.
Click on Microsoft Works again.
Click on Works Tools.
Click on Database.
Name the field and press Enter.
Repeat step seven as many times as necessary.
Click one.
Click on the cells under the field names to be able to type the information.
Go to record and click Sort Records.
This will put records in various orders and can be manipulated.
Evaluation:
Sitting in
front of a computer, students will click on, in order, all the steps for
making a database.
Homework: Have students make databases of their toys.
