Picture Graphs

Background Information

Graphs are used to show information and illustrate related facts.  A picture graph uses pictures to do this.  In a picture graph, each picture is used to represent a certain quantity.  The titles of a picture graph will tell what the purpose of the graph is.  Labels tell what facts are being compared.  The key tells how much each picture represents.
