Component: Language Arts

Objectives: 

Materials: Computer with online capabilities, disks, paper

Procedure: 1) Working in small groups, students will search online for answers to
                      the questions below.

                 2) Save answers on disks.

                 3) Cite websites with URLs. (example: Yahooligans )

                             A) When was chocolate first discovered? (In the New World during the times of  
                                 Columbus)

                                 such as leprechauns.

                                 What are the main ingredients in chocolate? (The main ingredients in

                                 How are most chocolate bars made? (Most chocolate bars are made by 
                                 pouring the liquid chocolate paste into moulds)

Evaluation: Students will be evaluated using a Scavenger Hunt Rubric.

Homework: Using the summary, each student will write three higher level questions
                   (analysis, synthesis and evaluation) and answer them in essay style 
                   responses.
