Materials: Computer with online capabilities, disks, paper
Procedure: 1) Working in small groups, students will search
online for answers to
the questions below.
2) Save answers on disks.
3) Cite websites with URLs. (example: Yahooligans

Evaluation: Students will be evaluated using a Scavenger Hunt Rubric.
Homework: Using the summary, each student will
write three higher level questions
(analysis, synthesis and evaluation) and answer them in essay style
responses.
Extension Activities:
Make a chart of all websites found relating to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
After finding how to make a crossword puzzle, make one using words from the story.
Write commercials to advertise a candy bar.
