You will be traveling through many Webs site. Your goal is to locate the selected URLs (Internet Addresses) for your project question "What is Energy?"
You will document
your visit to these locations by answering the questions for each Web site.
You will answer each question on the word processor and copy the pictures
necessary to create a collage that will show he different forms of energy,
how to keep safe from electrical energy and how to conserve energy.
You may use the scanner to get pictures from other resources such as books,
magazines, etc. You will print your final collage and notebook on
energy that will include the answers to all the questions below and any
other worksheets of your choice that you encounter in your search.

and read Poor Richard's Energy Almanac.

Compare and Contrast Energy Then and Now.
b. Copy any pictures you need for your collage.
3. Go
to Energy Quest. Click on Super Scientists.
Go to Brain Pop. click
on Pick a Movie. choose Electricity
a. Who invented the light bulb? Thomas Edison
b. Who discovered electricity? Benjamin Franklin
c. What is a form of Static Electricity?
4. Go
to Brain Pop
Click on Pick a Movie. Choose Light
a. What is the speed of light?
b. What is the temperature of the sun?
c. What are some sources of light? Sun, electricity, fire
d. Copy any pictures you need for your collage
5. Go to Miami
Museum of Science
Click on exhibits, click on past exhibits, then click on ATOMS Family. Go to Educational activities. Click

2. Keep doors closed so that the cold air or hot air doesn't escape.
3. Shut the TV. and Computer when not in use.

the Declaration of Energy Independence. It will be part of your
final project. Do not sign it until further notice.
