Vieques 
 New York City Immigration interview:
     The person that I interviewed is named Carmen. She is 47 years old. She was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico and moved to the Lower East Side of Manhattan when she was about 10 years old. She had family here, her grandmother (Eusebia Arroyo) who was the first person in the family to come to New York City. 

Coming to New York was hard for Carmen because she was not used to anything. It was especially hard in school because she did not know any English. The reason that her family came to New York is because life was supposed to be easier and the schools were supposed to be better.
