Capitalization  I use both capital and lower case letters.
   I capitalize proper nouns, like the names of people, pets, and places.

   I use apostrophes in contractions and possessives.
  

Word Use  Every word seems just right.
   I use synonyms for words I write a lot.
   I use new spelling words when appropriate.
   I use new vocabulary words when appropriate.
   My verb forms match my noun (e.g., singular; plural).
   I use standard spelling.
   I use the dictionary to spell words I don't know.
   I use the thesaurus to find synonyms for words I use a lot.
