Write your own ode

Use this template to write your own Ode to Planet Earth.
Replace the guide ideas with you own ideas - you can write as many lines as you like in each section.
You will probably want to use modern language - you and your - but if you would rather use thee, thou, thy and thine go ahead - it's entirely up to thee!

Ode to Planet Earth

Section 1 A description of the planet. You could be positive (describe its timeless beauty, perhaps from space) or negative (describe the effect of men and women on the planet). Remember you are talking to the planet. Here are some starters you could copy and paste:
Dear Earth. O beautiful Planet Earth.
Planet of seas and rugged continents!

Section 2 Write about what the planet means to you.

Section 3 Ask the planet a question or questions.

Section 4 Tell the planet something.
(This could be an apology for the way it is treated, or something about how the planet will still be around even when the human race is extinct.)
