Read what Teachers are Saying about Teachers Network's P-Credit Courses

This course was the most organized on line course I have been involved with...excellent!
I liked the way the class was run using a discussion board. I enjoyed sharing and getting feedback from other students.
The course was run very well. Assignments were clear. The instructor was easy to contact.
I loved obtaining great ideas without even having to leave my house.
I enjoyed my first online course and I will be taking another one. I also liked that the facilitator was very upbeat and knowledgeable.
I have recommended this course to my entire school! It was my 1st online course and I loved it! The teacher’s comments were so positive and helpful!!
This was one of the best courses I have taken being a library and computer teacher. I wish there were more courses like this.
The flexible schedule was ideal for the father of a two-year-old.
I appreciated the connection to our real classrooms.
I enjoy learning about colleagues who have similar issues and how they dealt with it.
I enjoyed writing to the facilitator and everyone else. I really felt like I was in a classroom. I also liked that the tasks were published ahead of time.
I learned so much from this course! The exchange of ideas with other teachers was most rewarding for me!
This course taught me a great deal about what is available to teachers on the internet. I was nervous before the class began because I was not that great at navigating the web, but I was guided through each new process. Having to actually establish web quests, virtual field trips, discussion boards, and blogs makes me feel comfortable that I will be able to do it on my own.
I appreciated the feedback from teachers from all over the city who have different ideas on educational topics.
The websites were excellent and will be of use to me long after the course. I have shared websites with my colleagues.
Every interaction was logged in the chat room. It kept the level of discussion highly professional and focused.
I think this course was run really well. We were given useful materials to read online as well in the text and the CDROM, assignments that dealt with everyday issues teachers face, and ample time to complete the assignment.
I enjoy everything. I feel so much more comfortable at home and in school using the internet. Thank you.
I liked the flexibility of this course. You could work on your assignments at any time of the day or night.
I enjoyed hearing that other teachers face similar issues in their classrooms. I also enjoyed getting feedback from teachers who have been in the same situations as me. The feedback was really helpful.
The questions posed each week challenged me to reflect on myself as a teacher. There are often times when I feel the need to write things down but don't. After 8 years, there have been many ups and downs. It finally feels good to be able to say that what I am doing is working. The teacher always gave us positive feedback and a lot of inspiration.
The facilitator was very supportive and kept discussions going, a useful tool because we were often each others best resource.
I am now more sensitive to my students learning styles and now try to include activities in my lessons that try to address the different learning styles of my students.
Through this class I have realized how important it is that lessons are coordinated with the appropriate standards and grade curriculum.
I was able to reach so many more students and help them to realize the relationships between different disciplines as I connected them in class.
I loved creating my own Web Quest. I was able to attach specific links where I wanted my students to find their information rather than have them browse for it. I knew the sites I used were reliable for them.
I learned ways to structure assessments for different types of learners, and ways to structure literary groups so that all students would be able to participate.
I got many creative ideas for shaking up my classroom management skills and classroom setup.
That there are multiple intelligences and that educators should tailor lessons to them. We should work with our students' strengths and not against them.
I learned to be reflective about my teaching and to question why something did or didn't work. I also learned about lots of new resources.
I have to tell you the night I submitted my last responses I had such a feeling of accomplishment. These classes made me feel so much more equipped to teach.
