ASCD Education Bulletin The biweekly online newsletter of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. This online newsletter includes short items of interest to people who care about K-12 education (including early childhood). We cover topics of continuing concern to ASCD, including curriculum, instruction, assessment,technology, equity, diversity, and maintaining strong support for public schools. Academe Today and The Chronicle of Higher Education - Academe Today is an on-line service for individual, paid subscribers to The Chronicle of Higher Education. It includes daily reports about breaking news in higher education, a guide to academic resources on the Internet, updates on legislation affecting higher education, the full text of The Chronicle, earliest possible access to hundreds of job ads, and more. Subscriptions cost $75 for one year and include three special issues -- The Almanac of Higher Education, an annual reference issue, and Events & Travel in Academe, a semiannual supplement -- as well as access to Academe Today.

Science News Online - This electronic weekly is published by Science Service, Inc. and provides full-text articles and letters to the editor. Articles focus on issues in biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy, geology and mathematics and are presented in easy language for young people to better understand them. References for further reading are also provided.
Science Now - breaking science news and updates on the world of science from Science's global news team. New items are posted each working day.
Scientific American - The Galileo Mission and Cystic Fibrosis are examples of the scope of articles in this journal. Breaking technology and lingering scientific phenomena are equally addressed, and the journal volumes available online are all in abstract-form. That is, the online version contains tables of contents with one-paragraph abstracts of each article.
