IMPACT II

- Improves classroom instruction
- Disseminates good ideas
- Improves diverse sites
- Keeps good teachers in teaching
- Provides lasting effects
The IMPACT II model was founded in 1979, and had the results of its first evaluation in 1982. Dedicated to self-improvement, IMPACT II has an extensive database covering its outcomes. Survey questions originally asked in 1981 were revisited in 1992-93. The survey showed that after 10 years, the main effects of IMPACT II remain strongly in place.
As a professional community of teachers and educators working together to improve student achievement. IMPACT II works because it connects teachers; providing a strong, supportive, network and a vast supply of innovative resources. |
