About: Students of any age, who see a veteran, simply say "Thank you for serving" They can then register their first name only and their state on the site. Comments are also welcome. In addition they can visit navigation buttons leading them to information on our flag, famous veterans, books, teacher activities, veteran holidays, women in the military, crafts, clipart, memorials, statistics, photos, community activities, etc.
Children throughout the country will get a better understanding of our veterans and every child that participates will hopefully develop a life long habit of thank those who have served.
Scavanger hunts, clipart, children's book lists, etc. all give teachers materials that work well on many grade levels. The addition of powerpoints, more activities, additional visuals and printed lessons will make the topic simple to teach in a classroom. The toplc will be thoroughly covered and a way that children can visually relate to.

| Students will create activites that allow them to become envolved with veterans (such as inviting a veteran, or veterans to visit the school, writing to veterans or soldiers, having a poster contest and giving the posters to local VFW posts, etc.) |
